AncientRivers is a multi-system metaphysical analysis platform that generates personal readings by running your birth data through four independent wisdom traditions (BaZi, Jyotish, Western astrology, and numerology). This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

What we collect

To generate a reading, we ask for your name (optional), date of birth, time of birth (optional), and place of birth. To create an account, we collect your email address. If you subscribe, our payments provider collects payment information on our behalf.

We also store the readings generated from your data so you can return to them, and we keep basic technical logs (such as request timestamps and error traces) for operating the service.

How we use your data

Your birth data is used to run astrological calculations and to generate the literary synthesis of your reading. Your email is used for sign-in links, account-related notifications, and — if you opt in — occasional product updates. Payment data is used solely to process subscriptions.

Third-party providers

We rely on third-party providers to operate the service, including hosting and edge infrastructure, database and authentication (Supabase), transactional email delivery, payments (Stripe), and AI providers that perform the synthesis step of the reading. Each provider receives only the data needed to perform its function.

Your readings

AncientRivers readings are interpretive and reflective. They are not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. You should not make important life decisions based solely on a reading. If you need professional guidance in any of those areas, please consult a qualified practitioner.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Deleting your account removes your stored readings and personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Children

AncientRivers is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
